About Me

My first introduction to the childcare industry was by my 5th grade teacher, who introduced me to “The Babysitter’s Training Course”.  I began babysitting at age 11 for my next door neighbor. This led to many other babysitting jobs throughout the neighborhood. At the age of 16, I started to volunteer in the church nursery. My time babysitting and volunteering led me to my first “real” job in a Daycare Facility, and into the Nanny Industry. Throughout my adult years I have held many different jobs, always returning to child care.  I found that taking care of children came naturally and that I possessed strong domestic qualities and abilities. As a professional nanny, I have always cared for the children in my charge as my own. Taking care of children has enriched my life in many ways, and I continuously learn and grow through the children’s growth and development. My career choice has given me the important option of spending time with my own children while working full-time, whether as a nanny or home daycare provider.
